The National Journalism Center (NJC) is now accepting intern applicants for its Fall 2008 internship session. The NJC has provided free 12-week internships with Washington-area media outlets for 30 years. Aside from apprenticing with established Washington journalists, these internships include weekly seminars with speakers, many of whom are NJC alumni, supervision and instruction by the Academic Director. There is also a $1,000 per month scholarship available for accepted applicants.
Work Schedule: M-F 9-5; Hours per week: 40
Wage: $1000/month for 12 weeks
