No longer local, Lacrosse goes national
July 23, 2008

What known as a Mid-Atlantic American sport is no longer only regionally played, but growing at an exponential rate internationally, writes Towson journalism student Patrick Smith.
Smith profiled the sport for a series of online stories produced last spring for MCOM 407 Writing for New Media. Among his stories are profiles of a group of Towson teens who took the sport to South Africa and a look at North Harford Hawks’ coach John Grubb on the night of his 300th career win. Check out his work here.
