Baltimoresun.com is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of News Producer. Strong editing skills are a must. Sound news judgment, experience working in an online editorial environment and knowledge of the Baltimore-area are preferred.
Key components of this job include:
· Organizing and updating the home page and other areas of the site
· Editing news stories and posting them to the site
· Producing multimedia to enhance news coverage
· Contributing to online editorial projects
This position requires a background in editing or reporting and knowledge of HTML and PhotoShop. An ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of editing experience. Experience with Flash and maps mashups is a plus.
